Product Description

26 x 118mm ThermoWood Pine Decking Smooth

ThermoWood® Pine is a beautiful and eco-friendly solid wood decking material that is produced using a natural process involving only heat and steam, without any chemicals. The Finnish-grown European Redwood (Scandinavian Pine) is heat-treated to temperatures exceeding 200 degrees Celsius. This process makes the wood durable, stable, resin-free, and gives it a warm brown hue. ThermoWood Pine is an excellent material for outdoor decks as it has improved properties that can withstand the elements.

ThermoWood Pine decking is smooth on all sides and has grooves on the sides to fit a clip system (also available). The side grooves allow for installation with no visible fixings on the deck surface. It can also be installed using conventional methods with deck screws fixed through the face of the board.

ThermoWood Pine decking has a stylish appearance and feels comfortable underfoot, even in hot weather. The production process does not involve any chemicals, making it free of toxins and safe for children to play on.

Technical Information

Colour
The heat treatment process alters the colour of the wood to a warm brown colour consistent throughout the section of the piece. Colour can vary slightly between boards.
Durability
When properly finished and maintained, Thermowood cladding will deliver decades of trouble-free service. It has a decay resistance of durability class 2 (durable) according to BS1186-3.
Stability
Thermowood cladding has excellent dimensional stability due to the heat treatment process. Shrinkage and swelling are minimal, displaying only small movements with changes in humidity.

Delivery & Returns

National Delivery Kerbside only

For national deliveries, the service is kerbside only, meaning the driver will deliver the timber to the curb/edge of your property, but not carry it inside, up steps, or into a building.

So you’ll need to plan for moving it from the delivery point yourself (or with help) once it’s been dropped off.

Returns & Refunds

No automatic returns. Goods ordered in error or no longer needed can’t be returned for credit unless Beesley & Fildes agrees.
Possible returns (with approval):
Must be made within 28 days of purchase.
Items must be from regular stock lines (not custom or manufacturer-ordered).
Goods must be unused and in original packaging.

A minimum 25% restocking charge applies.
Special orders (items sourced directly from a manufacturer) cannot be returned without prior written agreement.
Delivery charges are non-refundable once the order has been dispatched, because a third-party courier handles deliveries.

When will i get my order

DELIVERY DATES. All deliveries, Local or Nationwide, are normally 3-4* working days. Confirmation of delivery dates (and supplying branch) is given by email following the process of ordering through the payment gateway. Saturday delivery, local or by nationwide courier, may carry a surcharge.
