Product Description

Add value to your project with Fraké, a high-performance hardwood that is renowned for its spectacular appearance, excellent stability, and resistance to degradation. Sourced from sustainably managed forests in Western and Central Africa, Fraké offers an ideal blend of natural beauty and improved technical performance for modern exterior and interior applications.

Rich, Modern Aesthetic

Thermo-modified Fraké features a warm, chocolate-brown or nut-brown tone with sophisticated flame-like grain patterns. Naturally free of knots, it is a very aesthetically pleasing timber product that supports modern and luxurious façades and decking solutions, including cladding and architectural applications. The appearance matures outdoors into an attractive, sleek silver-grey patina that is also in great demand across contemporary design.

Increased Stability & Durability

Through thermal modification, Fraké becomes a Class 1–2 durable timber, obtained by heating the wood above 200°C with the use of only heat and steam, which will also provide excellent resistance to rot, decay, and insect attack. This greatly improves dimensional stability, reducing warping and movement, making it perfectly suited for outdoor environments.

Easy to Work With

Known for outstanding workability, Thermo-Modified Fraké machines, glues, and finishes effortlessly for smooth installation and premium results, whether you're a professional builder, architect, or DIYer.
