40 x 2.65mm 316 Stainless Steel Flat Head Annular Ringshank Nail
It is recommended to use stainless steel nails when applying roof shingles, shakes and cladding, especially Western Red Cedar, Siberian Larch, and other wood species with a high tannin content. Flat head nails are perfect for face-fixing timber and help prevent pull-through.
For optimal corrosion resistance, it is advisable to use stainless steel ring nails when installing cedar shingles, shakes, and cladding. Each ring nail is manufactured according to plate number 1 using high-quality stainless steel wire and is classified as 304-grade stainless Steel.
We highly recommend always using stainless steel nails when working with Western Red Cedar, Siberian Larch, and similar wood species that contain high tannin content. This will prevent wood staining.
To fix 4 bundles of shingles, you'll need 1 kilo of 31mm ring shank nails. For 4 bundles of shakes, 1 kilo of 50mm ring shank nails is required. To fix 1 bundle of pre-formed hip and ridge caps, you'll need 72 nails.
