Product Description

This product is ideal for contractors working on larger-scale projects. The grading of Select Clear (85/15) is slightly more lenient compared to the Select Premium Clear Vertical Grain range. Approximately 85% of the boards meet the official grading rules for 'No. 2 Clear & Better', while the remaining 15% fall into the 'No. 4 Clear' grade. This may result in some pieces with slightly larger knots, knot holes, and other unique characteristics that are typically not allowed in the Select Premium Clear Vertical Grain product. The Western Red Cedar used to produce Select Clear (85/15) is sourced from old-growth forests in the coastal regions of British Columbia, Canada, known for their dense and fine-grained logs.

Technical Information

Colour
Colour can vary between boards and within boards—typical colour range: light straw to dark reddish brown.
Durability
When properly finished and maintained, Western Red Cedar cladding will deliver decades of trouble-free service. It has a decay resistance of durability class 2 (durable) according to BS1186-3.
Stability
Western Red Cedar cladding has excellent dimensional stability because of its low wood density and shrinkage factor. Shrinkage and swelling are minimal, displaying only small movements with changes in humidity.

When will i get my order

DELIVERY DATES. All deliveries, Local or Nationwide, are normally 3-4* working days. Confirmation of delivery dates (and supplying branch) is given by email following the process of ordering through the payment gateway. Saturday delivery, local or by nationwide courier, may carry a surcharge.

Returns & Refunds

No automatic returns. Goods ordered in error or no longer needed can’t be returned for credit unless Beesley & Fildes agrees.
Possible returns (with approval):
Must be made within 28 days of purchase.
Items must be from regular stock lines (not custom or manufacturer-ordered).
Goods must be unused and in original packaging.

A minimum 25% restocking charge applies.
Special orders (items sourced directly from a manufacturer) cannot be returned without prior written agreement.
Delivery charges are non-refundable once the order has been dispatched, because a third-party courier handles deliveries.
